Legs and Glutes are for Everyone
One movement to create foundation-ally great legs is the lunge.
Lunges are one of the best leg exercises that you can do. They involve the glutes, front quads, hamstrings, inner/ outer thighs and calves as well as the core (especially walking lunges). When you incorporate lunges into your workout you need to make sure that your legs and knee joints are properly warmed up and the muscles are properly stretched. Firstly, start off with stationery lunges so that you can get your balance and technique together. Technique is very important with this movement so that you incorporate all of the muscle groups that are involved in this exercise. Secondly, you don’t want to over stress your knees by hyper-extending them, (look at the first picture for proper form). And watch your lower back as posture is key.
